DMK Accountants Ltd is a Cyprus audit firm formed on 1 February 2013. DMK was founded by two professionals with extensive experience in the field of audit, tax and advisory. The energy, dynamism and experience of the founders enhances top quality service by proactively identifying clients’ needs and expectations.

Given the experience gained by the founders of DMK while working with various firms in Cyprus, they decided to establish their own firm in order to provide top quality service by focusing on what they do best. For this reason, DMK is an audit firm working with law firms and corporate service providers in Cyprus and abroad.

Our strength is our people. DMK’s human capital is its main asset since our people are all professionals with different backgrounds allowing us to learn and understand our clients from different perspectives. The professionalism and expertise of our staff guarantees quality service at the highest level.

The approach we follow in DMK is to first understand and appreciate our clients’ needs by learning about their objectives and the environment in which they operate. As a result we provide more than just audit and assurance services in a timely and efficient manner.

Constantinos Demetriou
ACA, BA(Econ)

Constantinos Demetriou graduated from The University of Manchester in 2002 with specialisation in Accounting and Finance. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG Cyprus and became a member of the ICAEW in 2006.

He then moved to the biggest retail Group in Cyprus where he became financial controller of one of the Group’s divisions. Subsequently, he decided to return to the profession and worked in PwC Cyprus’ tax department where he progressed as a manager.

He remained with PwC until he decided for a new challenge, being the setting up of the tax department in a high up tier firm in Cyprus where he worked there as a Director of the tax department. After 3 successive years with this firm he decided to become a partner of his own firm, DMK Accountants Ltd.

Constantinos is currently involved in international tax planning involving various jurisdictions given his extensive experience in taxation. He is specialised in tax advisory including obtaining tax rulings and following up clients’ tax affairs with the Cyprus tax authorities.

Michalis Michael
ACA, BA (Hons)

Michalis Michael graduated from The University of Nottingham in 2003 with specialisation in Finance, Accounting and Management. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with BDO Cyprus and became a member of the ICAEW in 2007.

He remained with BDO Cyprus until the end of 2010 having progressed to the Audit Manager position in charge of a portfolio of international clients including Cysec licensed companies, trading companies and various investment holding companies.

In January 2011, a new challenge, arose and he accepted the position of the Audit Senior Manager in a high up tier firm in Cyprus where by mid-2012 he progressed to Director of Audit responsible for one of the two Audit groups in the Audit department. After 2.5 successive years with this firm he decided to become a partner of his own firm, DMK Accountants Ltd.

Michalis is currently heading the audit department with a portfolio of mainly international clients.
